Division A

Tuesday’s action started with New Zealand bouncing back from a tough loss with a 75-45 win over Indonesia. The day ended with China moving a step closer to winning the group with a 91-69 victory over South Korea. The game in the other group would determine the top spot and give the winner the direct bye to the semifinals. Japan built up a lead in the middle of the game, but Australia recovered in the second half to win 79-67.

Division B

The last game of the day saw Taiwan defeat Kazakhstan 91-47 to grab the top spot in the group and a bye to the semifinals. Iran put themselves in position to grab that spot in the other group in the first game of the day, defeating Mongolia 89-55 with Negin Rasoulipour Khameneh leading the way. The two winless teams closed the day and Rattiyakorn Udomsuk and Thailand got the result they needed with the 81-55 victory over the Cook Islands.
