Division A
The first game on Friday was the critical matchup that would determine which team would earn a spot in this division for the next edition of this tournament in two years. Rebecca Akl and Lebanon controlled most of the game, but never quite put the game out of reach for Indonesia before winning 67-57. The championship bracket started next with the first round and Esra McGoldrick and New Zealand looked for the big upset, but Japan pulled away in the second half for a 77-62 win. Lee Hae-Ran and Kang Yoo-Lim helped South Korea slam the door on the Philippines early in a 104-71 win to set the semifinals matchups and the 5th place game.
