A full round of games was played on Friday before the international break, starting with a matchup that had major implications which saw Sami Hill and Araski move from danger to the top of tie for safety after an 83-68 win over Alima Dembele and Joventut Badalona. Estepona lost to Lisa Berkani and Estudiants 80-72, leaving them just a game above danger after the earlier result. Gran Canaria pushed hard again early, but lost to Ibaeta 76-63. Gernika nearly helped their cause greatly, but their second half rally fell short against Valencia 68-67. The top two teams met and Zaragoza escaped with an 81-78 win over Juste Jocyte and Girona, giving themselves the edge to secure the top seed in the playoffs. Ferrol moved to the last playoff spot after losing 71-60 to Avenida despite a big game from Karolina Sotolova. Noor Driessen and Leganes moved above them, winning 78-70 to leave Sedis as the team in danger at the end of the day. Morgan Bertsch led Jairis in a 79-67 win over Ensino.
