One half of the bracket started their semifinals on Thursday as Venezia was hoping to take care of business early so that they could prepare for continental play. Alyssa Ustby and Roseto had already pulled off one major upset and had the lead at halftime. The hosts did take the advantage after the break and won 78-75.
