The semifinals were on Friday with two teams trying to pick up their second straight win to advance to the championship and the two teams with byes looking to start strong. Girona had the lead after the first quarter as Fenerbahce took a little bit of time to get into rhythm, but the favorites took the lead with a run to start the second quarter on their way to a 76-59 win. Galatasaray looked ready to face their great rivals in the championship game, but Zaragoza managed to make a late run in front of the home fans before losing 63-56.
