Sunday was the last day of the competition and the third place game was up first. Besides medals being on the line, both teams will be trying to win their domestic leagues too. Carla Leite and Zaragoza built up a lead in front of their home fans, but had to hold off one last charge from Girona to win 66-63. That set the stage for the big rivalry game for the championship. Shorthanded Galatasaray kept the game closer than expected for a while, but Fenerbahce eventually got the 68-55 win as Emma Meesseman also achieved unprecedented individual success.
