Both games in this group were close on the first day, but that trend soon changed as they opened Monday’s schedule. The US Virgin Islands bounced back from a close loss with a decisive 84-47 win over El Salvador. Guyana tried to navigate a game with a limited rotation again, but struggled and lost to Puerto Rico 93-50.

The two teams that won their opening game met in this group and the Dominican Republic had the lead early as they relied on Cesarina Capellan again. Destiny Pitts and Mexico grabbed the lead and then built on it to win 75-64. Both teams in the last game of the day were looking to get the win and avoid elimination. It was close throughout, but the combination of Lashann Higgs and Valerie Nesbitt helped the Bahamas get the 73-67 victory over Kiyomi McMiller and Nicaragua.
