The semifinals in Brazil resumed on Friday and Campinas closed out their series with Araraquara with a narrow home win. Cerrado faced elimination on the road on Saturday, but an early lead helped them tie the series with Sampaio.
The championship in Chile came down to one game on Tuesday and both teams went all out to win the deciding game. Sportiva Italiana brought in a new foreign player in the hopes that her explosive scoring ability could get them the win. Mar’Shay Moore ended up scoring 52 points for the visitors, but they trailed at halftime. Colegio Los Leones de Quilpue leaned on Randi Brown for their scoring and she ended up with 35 points helping them hold on for a narrow win.
Australia
More conferences finished their regular seasons in NBL1, including the South conference. The Knox Raiders and Eltham Wildcats continued winning and sit in the top two spots, getting to wait for the playoffs to start before joining the fray. The Diamond Valley Eagles dropped down to the lower playoff bracket and will face the Ballarat Miners after they fell to the last playoff spot. Maddison Rocci had another triple-double with 31 points, 11 rebounds, and 14 assists. Jess Smith had the highest scoring game with 43 points, Rachel Antoniadou had a 32 point game, and Lil Dart and Liana Kinkela each reached the 30 point mark.
It was the end of the regular season in the North conference and while no playoff spots were up for grabs, the pileup of teams competing to start the postseason ended up with all four teams tied with the same record. After tiebreakers were applied, the Townsville Flames sat at the top of that group followed by the Mackay Meteorettes, the Northside Wizards, and the Southern Districts Spartans. The Logan Thunder and Cairns Dolphins await the results of those battles as the top two teams.
The Cockburn Cougars continued winning in the West conference, getting 33 and 35 point games from Jessie Edwards while Daniel Raber had 15 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists in the first game. Near the bottom of the standings, Gaby Bronson had 30 points and her teammate Trista Hull had 26 rebounds in a win for the Eastern Suns. Mia Jacobs had 22 rebounds for the Mandurah Magic as they ended the season for the Perry Lakes Hawks.
The end of the regular season was reached in the North conference with half of teams getting ready for the playoffs as the Norths Bears finished undefeated. Sara Matthews had 30 points in game for the Maitland Mustangs while 33 points from Nicole Munger was not enough to complete a late charge by the Newcastle Falcons.
The playoffs started in the Central conference with two games on Saturday. The elimination game saw the Forestville Eagles take the lead early, but the South Adelaide Panthers tied the game by the end of the third quarter and had the better fourth quarter to advance. The Sturt Sabres defeated the Norwood Flames to advance to the game where the winner will advance to the championship.
The playoffs started in North West Tasmania this week. On Tuesday, both teams were trying to get the spot in the championship game as the Somerset Heat built a lead behind 32 points from Sharna Thompson. The Burnie Tigers had a great fourth quarter comeback though to get the win by a single point. Wednesday’s matchup was an elimination game that Devonport got to host along with the entire postseason even though they were the last team to qualify. The Warriors could not keep their season going though, losing to the Latrobe Demons.
EuroLeague
The EuroLeague qualifiers and groups were drawn on Thursday. Since 24 teams were registered for the upcoming season, 12 spots were awarded automatically and then there are 4 qualifying spots for the remaining 12 teams. In qualifying, 4 teams get a bye to the final round and the other 8 teams play each other first with both rounds being single-elimination games.

EuroCup
The groups and qualifiers were also draw for EuroCup on Thursday. 45 teams registered directly for the competitions and 8 teams will drop down after they lose in the EuroLeague qualifiers. That means that 10 teams will play in the qualifiers, which will be two-game series where the team listed first below will host the second game.
