The season opening event was played on Sunday as the game was a rematch of the championship series from last year. Gorzow, which lost that series, but won the cup competition, got an impressive debut at the top level from young Magdalena Kloska to take the 78-69 win. Mathilda Ekh made her professional debut for Gdynia.
