The hosts played the first game in this group again and there were no delays this time when they hosted a Portugal team looking for their first ever win at this level. Czechia slammed the door on them early though with a 73-52 victory and then waited for the other game to see if they would advance before the final day of games. They did not have to wait long as Belgium had a dominant first quarter and Kyara Linskens paced them in an 87-53 win over Montenegro. Belgium and Czechia will play for their quarterfinal matchup and the top spot in the group while Portugal will be searching for that first win against Montenegro.

The two teams that lost their openers in this group started the day’s action and Great Britain looked ready to avenge their qualifying losses early. Klara Lundquist and Sweden tied the game up by halftime and then took the lead on the way to a 75-66 win. That result meant that Germany would qualify with a win, but Raquel Carrera and Spain were a difficult matchup and the hosts lost 79-60. Spain is now in control and faces Sweden. Great Britain must win against Germany to have any chance of advancing.
