Group A

Girona was the first team to qualify for the next round from this group, staying perfect with a 90-65 win over Gdynia. USK Prague was looking to join them, but ended up getting blown out by Bourges 78-43 to leave both teams in good position, but still needing to wait until at least next week.

Charleville-Mezieres took care of business at home with a 72-62 win, securing a spot in the next round and leaving Jelena Brooks and Sopron in a tough spot to stay in the competition. Neither team had rhythm on offense early, but Galatasaray eventually built up a lead to win 72-61 at Schio, staying undefeated and advancing as well.

Fenerbahce was quite emphatic when it came to securing their spot in the next round, crushing DVTK 113-65. Valencia joined them in similar fashion with a 99-57 win over Olympiacos.

This was the only group that had one game on each day. Landes jumped out to the lead, but had to hang on to leave Zaragoza with a 65-63 win. Cukurova finally got their first win on Thursday even though they gave up an early lead as Julie Vanloo led them past Reyer 83-69. None of the teams advanced or were eliminated after those results.
