The round started on Friday with Zitina Aokuso and Sara Blicavs teaming up to lead Canberra past Maddi Rocci and Southside Melbourne 97-71. On Saturday, Shyla Heal and Geelong were trying to avoid falling into last place, but Isobel Borlase and Bendigo made sure the top three stayed well clear of the rest of the field with a 77-71 win. The winner of Sunday’s first game would jump above the group at the bottom of the standings and it was Sania Feagin and Dallas Loughridge providing the inside-outside combination to get Adelaide the 94-75 win over Lauren Nicholson and Sydney. Perth got a big test of their new-look roster and the results were excellent as Han Xu and Alex Ciabattoni led them past Townsville 97-81. Geelong was the first team to double-digit losses after falling to Cayla George, Maddi Rocci, and Southside Melbourne on Tuesday.
