Amy Atwell, Anneli Maley, and Han Xu formed the star trio for Perth as Mackenzie Holmes got to work along with Shyla Heal for Geelong in a 106-78 losing effort. The scoring was dialed up in Tuesday’s game when the trio of Cayla George, Haley Peters, and Maddy Rocci got the 113-94 win for Southside Melbourne over Lauren Nicholson and Sydney. The latest battle between top three teams closed the round on Wednesday and Townsville lost another key player early as Bendigo got the 73-61 win.
