The winners of the four games on Wednesday would qualify for EuroLeague and the losers would drop down to EuroCup. The home teams had all gotten byes to this round while the visitors had won last Wednesday to get to this stage. Zoe Wadoux helped Kibirkstis take the lead early in Sopron and they never gave it up, pulling away late to eliminate the hosts 81-62. Over in Miskolc, DVTK would need the win to ensure that there was some Hungarian representation in the regular season and they had the lead at halftime. Crvena zvezda had a strong third quarter though and pulled ahead again in the fourth quarter to win 71-66.
Two teams were starting their seasons today and it did not seem to be a disadvantage for Reyer early. Tiffany Clarke and Charleville-Mezieres took the lead in the second half though and dominated the rest of the game to win 81-55 to give France another team in the regular season. The winner of the last game would also give their country a third team and it was close in the first half. Reka Lelik was fantastic for Emlak Konut as they built up a lead in the second half against a Girona team that had not played a competitive game yet, winning 81-69 to make it Turkey getting the extra club.
