Wednesday was the last day of the group stage and first game was in this group between the leader and the eliminated team. Damiris Dantas and Brazil shut down any chance of El Salvador having at least some joy in this tournament on their way to a 106-49 win. The Dominican Republic would have needed a pretty significant win to change the final standings at all, but it ended up being pretty clear how the teams would stack up after Delaney Gibb fired Canada to an 82-46 win.
