Division A
Sunday started with the bronze medal game and China at least finished with a win in front of the home fans after the disappointment of the previous day by rolling past South Korea 101-66. That set the stage for a group stage rematch in the championship game with an automatic spot in the World Cup on the line. There had been some expectation that Australia would dominate this competition after the merger of Asia and Oceania, but they were still looking for their first gold medal and this was probably their best shot so far. They took the lead in the first half, but Kokoro Tanaka continued her breakout tournament to help Japan tie the score in the fourth quarter. Australia would not be denied this time though and closed strong for the 88-79 win.

Division B
The bronze medal game also kicked off play in this division and Rattiyakorn Udomsuk capped off an excellent tournament for Thailand by leading them to a 78-73 win over Mongolia. The two remaining undefeated teams met for the gold medal and the spot in the Division A tournament being held in 2027. It was close in the first quarter as Mahla Abedi paced Iran, but Taiwan built a lead by halftime and got the 74-55 win to return to the level they had been playing at comfortably before their disastrous 2023 campaign.
