The round started on Friday with Bendigo extending their lead in the win column after Isobel Borlase led them in a 75-67 win over Adelaide. Miela Sowah and Townsville kept pace on Saturday after a 96-76 win over Unique Thompson and Sydney. Jade Melbourne and Canberra continued to have the advantage for the last playoff spot, prevailing 77-73 against Jazmin Shelley and Geelong. On Sunday, Borlase led Bendigo again, this time past Southside Melbourne 70-60. Alex Ciabattoni and Amy Atwell provided the firepower for Perth in a 109-82 win over Sania Feagin, Dallas Loughridge, and Adelaide. There was a rematch on Tuesday as Alicia Froling bested her twin in Townsville’s 79-74 win in the home game against Unique Thompson, Shaneice Swain, and Sydney. Kadi Sissoko and Canberra would have put themselves in great position with a win, but Ally Wilson and Anneli Maley helped Perth win 75-49.
