The first round after the break was played on Wednesday and this group featured a matchup of the top two teams, giving the winner the chance to secure a spot in the next round. Chloe Bibby and Girona had the lead at halftime at home, but Dorka Juhasz and Galatasaray dominated the rest of the game to win 82-68. Bridget Carleton and Janelle Salaun made sure that USK Prague stayed in contact with the teams trying to advance, winning 98-55 and virtually slamming the door on any chances for Charleville-Mezieres to avoid elimination. The winner of the final game would have the edge in securing a spot in the next round and it was Bourges getting the 92-81 home victory over Schio.

There was a shocking result as Leila Lacan and Landes took the lead early and kept up the pressure, handing Fenerbahce their first loss of the season 80-61.
