EuroLeague Round 5 November 4th-5th

Group A

This was one of the groups that only had one of their games on Tuesday and the result ended up determining which team would not advance. Bourges took the lead early to eliminate Gdynia 83-62. Wednesday’s game was fantastic as both teams knew that the result would carry over to the next stage. It went back and forth, but Juste Jocyte and Girona did secure the home win by an 83-78 margin over USK Prague to stay perfect.

Group C

The top two teams in this group met on Tuesday, but it was not the thriller that their last game ended up being as Fenerbahce rolled to a 71-49 win over Valencia. Olympiacos would join both teams in the next round with a win on Wednesday, but Kathryn Westbeld and DVTK controlled proceedings at home, not only getting the win, but flipping the tiebreaker with the 87-63 margin, meaning that they will advance if both teams get the same result in their final games.
