The U18 cup opened up Saturday’s action with Charleville-Mezieres getting the 68-47 win over Angers. That set up the championship game, which had Villeneuve-d’Ascq playing their last game of the season. Alexis Peterson helped them start with a lead, but Landes had the better of the rest of the game to win 77-65 as they get ready to resume the league playoffs too in search of another championship.
