Two series concluded on Saturday, starting Lattes Montpellier quickly extending their lead, but having to hold on in the second half, losing 70-64 to Landerneau, but still advancing 167-166. Landes already had a big lead and just expanded on it with an 84-47 win, eliminating Chartres 181-129. On Sunday, Charleville-Mezieres faced a big deficit at home, making no progress against it early. They started to cut into it by halftime, getting the 104-77 victory over Ameryst Alston and Villeneuve-d’Ascq to just hang on for the 160-159 aggregate win. Bourges only brought home a narrow lead, but quickly put the series out of reach for Shakayla Thomas and Charnay, winning the game 93-62 for a 174-141 final margin.
