Both of the semifinals continued on Wednesday with home teams needing wins to stay in championship contention and road teams looking to complete sweeps. Lexi Held and PEAC built a lead by halftime and clamped down on MTK for the 75-38 win to advance. DVTK looked ready to join them early, but Sopron extended the series with a 75-58 win.

Playout
There is one more round of games in this group after Wednesday’s games. Gyor was looking to sneak out a win late and possibly seal their spot in the standings, getting big games from Debora Dubei and Virag Zsebe-Weninger. Petra Farkas, Judit Barnai, and Caitlin Bickle helped Cegled hold on to the 93-92 win though. That result opened the door for Szigetszentmiklos to avoid last place and they prepared for the critical final game with a 74-57 win over Luca Szucs and David Kornei.
