This round started with one game on Saturday and Temira Poindexter and Sassari fended off a late surge from Anastasia Conte and Derthona for a 73-69 win. There was a big game on Sunday when it came to figuring out if any team would be able to challenge the top two and Lorela Cubaj helped Venezia answer the efforts of Campobasso and win 84-79. Broni got the bye in the opening round, but was finally able to make their return to the top division, getting a professional debut from Madison Hayes in a 78-63 win over Battipaglia. Jessica Shepard paced Schio in a 77-58 win over San Martino di Lupari. Roseto got their first home game to close the day and Alyssa Ustby helped them secure a 71-64 win despite the best efforts of Madison Scott and Gina Conti for Sesto San Giovanni.
