The quarterfinals were played on Wednesday with home teams trying to extend their seasons and visiting teams trying to complete sweeps. La Mama Kapinga Maweja and Torun had the lead at halftime, but G’mrice Davis and Sleza Wroclaw controlled the second half to finish the sweep with a 75-63 win. Zaglebie Sosnowiec had not looked their best on the road, but were able to avoid elimination as Sydney Taylor paced them in a 74-71 win over Poznan. It was not a decisive win, but Lublin was able to do enough in the second half to sweep Wisla Krakow with a 60-51 win. Gorzow finished avenging last year’s finals defeat and Gdynia’s tough second half of the season ended with a 98-66 loss.
