The regular season started this weekend with half of the games on Saturday and half of the games on Sunday. Anna Jakubiuk and Gydnia bounced back from their loss in the first trophy game with a 100-66 win over Bydgoszcz, which got a professional debut from Destini Lombard. While one historic powerhouse exited the top division, another made their return as Wisla Krakow lost at Poznan 67-57. Both Taylor and Ja’Leah Williams made their professional debuts for the visitors. Sleza Wroclaw closed the day with a 66-60 win at Torun. Agata Stepien had a good game for Wichos Jelenia Gora, but it was a tough start for them on Sunday in an 89-60 loss to Polonia Warszawa, which got a professional debut from Chellia Watson. Bochnia was the other team making the jump up, finally giving the league the desired number of teams, and Britney Jones helped them send an immediate message with an 81-76 win over Stephanie Reid and Gorzow. The best efforts of Sydney Taylor and Cate Reese were not enough for Zaglebie Sosnowiec as Laura Gil led Lublin to an 84-76 to close the day.
