Sunday was the final game of the tournament and it started with the fifth-place game. Uruguay was hoping to reverse the result of the first meeting between the teams, but Paraguay controlled the game again getting scoring from Bethsaida Ferreira and a triple-double from Marta Peralta for the 73-55 win. The bronze medal game was next and it was close early. Brazil took the lead before halftime and then built on it early in the second half to get the 61-48 win over Colombia. The championship game had the hosts looking to defend their title, but Venezuela had different ideas early and took the lead. Argentina worked their way back, taking the lead before halftime and then held on to it for the rest of the game, eventually getting the 53-44 win and repeating.
