The regular started this weekend with a heavy Saturday schedule as Ibaeta opened with a 60-56 win over Gran Canaria. Khadija Faye, Yvonne Ejim, and Irene Murua made professional debuts in the win. Estepona earned promotion and got a good first game from Sika Kone and a professional debut from Madison Conner, but lost to Girona 80-58. An overtime thriller saw Gernika eventually get the 89-88 win over Nneka Ezeigbo and Estudiantes. Khadijiah Cave had a good game, but Avenida struggled to a 57-56 loss against Araski. Starting early did not help Jairis either as they fell to Joventut Badalona 58-57. Valencia had the most shocking loss of all of them, losing at Ferrol, which got professional debuts from Dalayah Daniels and Elena Rodriguez, 71-65. Leganes had a successful return to this level, getting a professional debut from Eleni Bosgana in a 72-64 win over Sedis, which got professional debuts from Freja Werth and Marta Morales. Zaragoza ended up being the only team in the opening tournament to win, getting past Lydia Giomi and Ensino, which got professional debuts from Nhug Bosch Duran and Hennie Van Schaik 83-69 on Sunday.
