The round started on Saturday with the two Madrid teams playing and it was Maya Dodson and Leganes that got the 68-61 win over Estudiantes. Estepona also got a win to climb a game out of danger, defeating Sami Hill and Araski 91-71. Lou Lopez Senechal and Jairis ended the day with a 72-63 win over Sedis. Sunday’s first game was a good meeting between powerhouse teams that Zaragoza won 85-73 over Avenida. Axelle Merceron and Gran Canaria were trying to continue their run, but had a much tougher test this time against Valencia, losing 83-66. Girona stayed at the top of the standings with a 71-60 win over Girona. Ensino slid further with a 69-63 loss to Joventut Badalona. The winner of the other late game would end the day in the last playoff spot and it was Ferrol getting the 71-57 victory over Gernika.
