Saturday was the last day of the regular season so there was a full set of simultaneous tipoffs with a few important spots up for grabs. Joventut Badalona was on the bottom of the tiebreaker for the last safe spot, but they had the most sure win of any team so Laura Piera and Rachel Howard helped them take care of business against Gran Canaria 108-70 while waiting for the rest of the results. Angela Salvadores made sure that Gernika was safe with an 86-75 win over her former team Avenida. Sedis lost to Aminata Gueye and Zaragoza 91-65, but still ended up safe on tiebreakers. Araski entered the day pretty much knowing that they needed a win for safety and it did not look good for a while at Estepona, but their late really got them the 77-74 victory to send Joventut Badalona down instead. Maimouna Haidara and Ensino locked in their seeding with an 84-79 win over Estudiantes. Jairis’s run through top teams had them getting a 67-60 win over Valencia to seal homecourt advantage to start the playoffs. Ferrol put the game out of reach early in an 80-69 win over Leganes.
