There was a full round of games on Wednesday, starting with a game that went to overtime before Alima Dembele and Joventut Badalona could get the 71-65 win, leaving Leganes perilously close to the drop. Gran Canaria went from last place to a safe spot with another win, this time getting past Araski 83-77 behind Axelle Merceron and Claudia Contell. Valencia looked ready to leave Salamanca with a win, but Iyana Martin and Avenida used a strong fourth quarter to win 58-57. Estepona is now the other team in the danger zone after losing to Gernika 86-70. Estudiantes looked ready to not be all alone in last place, but Ferrol completed a comeback for an 86-83 win. Lydia Giomi and Ensino bounced back from some tough losses, getting the 61-51 win to knock Ibaeta out of the tie at the top of the standings. Carla Leite and Zaragoza defeated Ainhoa Gervasini and Sedis 82-69. They nearly ended the day all alone in first place as the game went down to the wire in Murcia, but Mariam Coulibaly and Girona were able to leave with the 77-71 victory over Jairis.
