The winners of the last EuroLeague and EuroCup met on Wednesday even though there were big changes for both teams since they lifted their trophies. As the EuroCup winner, Villeneuve-d’Ascq got to host the game in France, but it was the EuroLeague winners USK Prague that started their new era with a trophy, winning 86-77 with an impressive playmaking effort from Pauline Astier.
